From your description, it seems that there was an attempt to access the files that are protected by Ransomware Shield.
To check if your Virtual DJ program is blocked, follow the steps mentioned below 'Manage Ransomware protection' in this article.
Note : You can add the program to allowed app list in the Ransomware protection.

Hi for some reson over the last few weeks, having never having a problem before , i am getting apop up message on the mac screen saying avg is proteting and wants to block… this has caused my Virtual Dj pro login to fail and meant that the shared login for hte raio i wokr on has to be changed.  Now this evening during the middle of my broadcast it did the same thing , thre me off air and has blocked my new password - which will no longer work for anyone. Can you tell me how to avoid this and why it has just happened to me and none of the other djs
