Hi Karthikeyan,
First, thank you for getting back with me and for the steps on fixing the problem. I did what you said and it fixed the email problem, but I am still running into problems on the other sites. I get the following message:
This site can’t be reached
catalyst.uc.edu took too long to respond.
Did you mean http://catalyst.uw.edu/?
Search Google for catalyst
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
Is there anything else I can do to help fix this when Im on my school's wifi?
Thank you!
When I am at school AVG blocks most to all of the webpages that are powered by my school (my school email, catalyst, and some other sites). When I am home or on other wifi connections I have no problem so I am not sure what to do to fix the problem, because it is a huge inconvenience I cannot access my email while on campus which is when it is most needed. Anyone know what I need to do so that AVG will stop blocking my websites.
Hello Nathan,
I understand your concern. When you are connected to your school network. Please check if AVG Firewall Network Profile is set to private. To check this open AVG Internet Security->Click on Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall->Customize->Network Profile. Check if the school network is set in public or private. If it is set in public, please change to private. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.

I understand your concern. Please disable AVG Protection temporarily in your computer and check if that fix the issue.
To disable AVG temporarily, please right click on the AVG icon present at the bottom right corner of your desktop(System Tray) and you can see a scroll bar to "Disable Protection". Please click on the same to disable AVG Protection and after which check if you are able to access this websites.
