Blue screen crashes after 17.5.3021 update

I paid 200.00 for this to be done the last time… That is why I did it because I dont have windows 10 I have windows 7 is there anyway that one of your tech"s can do this for me?

I'm running Windows 10 and haven't had any issues until this morning.  It seems that AVG pushed out an update yesterday (17.5.3021).  Now I've had 4 blue-screen crashes in just the last hour.  Since there haven't been any other changes to my PC (software or hardware), I have to suspect this update.

Did you need any crash logs or not?

Thank you for the information.
We are gradually performing major upgrade from 2016 to 2017 version.
We are planning to make 2017 version as a standard one and make the changes that was provided as feedback by customers.
The support and update for 2016 version will no longer will be available.
It is not possible for you to install the 2016 version of AVG Antivirus free again.

Hello Bruce,

It will be great if you can send us the log files. I have emailed you the steps to collect the error logs from your computer. Please upload the log files to AVG server and we will check this for you.

Per your request, I completely removed AVG from my PC.  I ended up removing it the "normal" Windows way rather than having to reboot into safe mode.  Now that AVG is no longer installed, my PC seems to be running without any issues.  It's been going now for over 90 minutes without a single crash.

In my mind, that points to the latest version of AVG that was just pushed out.

Hello Bruce,

I am sorry to hear this.
Please try booting your Windows 10 PC into safe mode as mentioned in this link: http://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-safe-mode-windows-10
Once you have booted into safe mode successfully, please run the AVG remover tool as mentioned in this article: http://avgread.me/1DEtNP0
If the remover tool shows the AVG Protection for removal, please proceed with the removal.
After restart, please check whether you are able to boot into windows normally.
Let me know the status of this.

As you requested, I reinstalled the same 17.5.3021 version of AVG Free again.  And once again, I'm seeing the exact same crashes.  The quickest surefire way for me to cause a blue screen crash is to start up a VirtualBox instance and wait a few minutes.

If you need any logs, let me know where they are and how I can get them to you.  I'm eager to get this fixed.
