Hi Phillip,

In rare cases, AVG Internet Security or AVG AntiVirus FREE may conflict with third-party software installed on your PC, causing Windows to crash, freeze, or show a blue screen error (BSOD - Blue Screen Of Death). This issue may be due to programs you run manually, or background services that run silently when you start Windows.
In this regard, we'd suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in this artilce to check & let us know the outcome.
One of my laptops keeps coming up with a blue screen which says Stop code:PAGE-FAULT-IN-NONPAGED-AREA and What failed: avgArPot.sys. I have tried everything that I have been advised to do on the Internet, uninstalled AVG and reinstalled it, twice. I have run the Windows update trouble shooter and am now waiting to see if the BSOD takes over again. Currently AVG protection is uninstalled.

I was also having this issue Phillip. After installing a Windows Update, my PC immediately started acted sluggish and then soon after started crashing with the BSOD. Eventually I was not able to start my computer without it immediately crashing with the BSOD, and I could not resolve it.
I'm assuming it had to do with an updated driver that was incompatible, but I could not solve it. I eventually gave up and restored my computer which was a pain.
