Blue screen while running Deep Scan

Thanks again for the reply! The Repair procedure solved my problem. I have run the Deep scan now and I had no viruses or malware on the computer.

Kind regards
Joakim

Hi!

I have AVG Internet Security and Windows 10. When I run a Deep Scan on my computer, Windows crashes and I get a blue screen. This happens about 50% into the scan. I have tried two times in a row and the same thing happened both time.

Is there a solution for this?

I also tried a Boot-Time Scan now. I left it running while being away from the computer. When I got back, Windows had started up again and I got no report of the results. Where can I find a Boot-Time scan report?

Hello Joakim,

I understand the inconvenience.
May I know the version of AVG internet Security program installed on your PC?
Try (repair of Internet Security) and check whether the issue persists.

Thank you for understanding.
For AVG boot time scan, the results should have got displayed once the scan is completed and the action will be taken according to the settings that you implemented at the startup of scan.
Did you get a screen for selecting what action to be taken after finding the threats?
May I know the version of AVG Internet Security program installed on your PC?
