Bluetooth dongle on desktop PC

I used the same dongle when I was making use of AVG free and it worked perfectly. Since I upgraded, a year or two ago, to full protection with AVG Internet security I have not used the dongle as I was single. Now I have a partner again and wanted to use Bluetooth headphones. It was then that I could not find bluetooth in the action center to switch on. In settings/devices it shows as other devices "CSR TrueCore Bluetooth" and under the device manager bluetooth does not show as a device, but only under universal serial bus as an item. I am not sure what you mean by the question how does it manifest. It is shown everywhere, but I cannot switch it on.

I used to make use of a Bluetooth dongle for my headphones before I installed AVG Internet security. Since then, the PC does not pick up the device anywhere. In device manager is shows under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, but nowhere else. It does not show in the action center of the settings to enable me to switch it on. I have tried everything and I do not which to uninstall by AVG Intrnet security, but I might have to find another internet security app for me. Please help if you can.
