I also intsalled AVG Ultimate (6.22.20) and erroneously allowed the AVC Sercure Brower to install. The AVG browser hijacked all my bookmarks and passwords from Chrome. When I deleted the AVG browser, all bookmarks and saved passwords from my syatem were gone. I did a system restore to no avail. All that data is missing.
Also interesting enough, when I registered my AVG product they requested a phone, email,and name. I entered all. This was last night. Today I have received 2-3 spam calls informing me to call back or my computer would be locked and unoperable. I have to assume that AVG is selling our data, or AVG has a breach in that data entry point.
I have used AVG for years, but based on the foregoing, will likely never install another AVG product and will trake the loss on my recent purchase.

What is wrong with AVG? Every update all of my bookmarks are deleted, held hostage by AVG. I have a Premium account that I have now unsubscribed to - and will not subscribe again. With this, it isn't even worth using the free version.
