I'd never noticed the boot scan option before, and I tried it. I was impressed at how long it took (80 minutes), since I'm hoping that means thorough. As it ran, the screen listed three zip files as problems.
Unlike the smart scan and deep scan, though, it didn't end with a message to me, saying I had issues or not. It just closed and led to my normal home screen. Should I be concerned for those files, assuming I can locate them? (Not so easy.) I have the options set to the default, of trying automatically to clean an infected file and, should that fail, trying first quarantine and, if all else fails, deleting. Thanks.
