Boot scan won't run

Version 18.8.3071 (build 18.8.4084.408) UI 1.0.134

Under Scan>settings>boot-time scan not installed

As I mentioned…when I install,  it does seem to install as it moves to the choice of restart now or later…hitting restart now it does go thru the restart process but boots all the way thru to windows.

Does "Boot Time Scan" shows as enabled from the settings?

I can't get the boot time scan to run.  AVG initializes it and asks for a restart…which I do but when it restarts boot time scan doesn't appear…goes right thru to Windows 7.   I've run this scan before and have tried a few times but the same result.

Any tips or ideas?
