Hi, Fad. Thank you for contacting AVG Community Support. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. We certainly check and help you. Usually, a Boot-time scan will take more time since it scans your computer completely. I am doing a boot time scan. So I restarted my PC but it says "AVG antivirus is loading" with a loading bar. Is it safe to force shut down my PC? I clicked restart and update to update and also to do the scan. But I am just afraid that my PC malfunctions because it didn't do the update yet.
I don't think it's even scanning. It literally says AVG AV is loading. I searched through the internet, it should have like the process of scanning my PC. But in this case, it's just a green loading bar saying AVG is loading.
Do I just wait or should I hold the power button? I restart and UPDATE my PC. So do you think it's safe to just force restart my PC without me knowing if my PC already updated?
Sorry for a late response. I was lucky. I force restarted and the update went back to where it was. I will take your suggestion to not do a boot scan during an update. Thanks, mate.
