I bought a trial upgrade from AVG free, and during the update my computer shut off. I tried to repair AVG / Update once I had the computer restarted, no good. I uninstalled, tried to reinstall and I get the following…
AVG Installer cannot continue because the last AVG operation was performed without restarting. Please reboot your computer first and then run the installer again.
…long story short, many many reboots, install attempts later I still get the same message. I have used AVG Clear as well as AVG Remover, both upon completion state that all traces of AVG are gone, however when I try a clean install I get the same message.
What do I do? I'm at my wits end and am wondering if I should just give up on AVG an cancel the trial (-_-)
