You may be getting a false positive from the software you're running. I'm getting this annoying notice whenever I open and run IPFS Desktop because it's attempting to connect to hundreds of peers to share file blocks across the internet.
Starting today - i have received multiple BotnetBlacklist Threat Secured Pop-up Notifications which reads as follows:
THREAT SECURED WE'VE SAFELY ABORTED CONNECTION ON TCP://ADDIPADDRESSHERE BECAUSE IT WAS INFECTED WITH BOTNETBLACKLIST
Can someone confirm if your software blocked a threat coming into my pc OR does this signify that my pc is infected and part of a botnet? I ran a full avg scan and your software did not find any malware, etc.
I am trying to understand what i need to do to resolve.
