Hi Fred,
Thanks for explaining your concern in community forum.
This issue might have caused due to technical glitch as the extension is already enabled in Microsoft edge.
To resolve this, I request you to repair AVG Internet Security to check if the extension is enabled in AVG Internet Security.

Just need a bit of help here.
I an running Windows 10 with Google Chrome set as my default browser. On checking through my main AVG Internet Security screen and clicking on MENU and selecting BROWSER EXTENSIONS it shows that Google Chrome is EXTENSION ENABLED but EDGE is not. This prompts user to click on ENABLE EXTENSION. This I did and the action defaulted to Microsoft Edge Extensions page. This revealed that the AVG secure browser extension is already installed and therefore should be working OK.
I went back to to the AVG main menu (as above) and repeated the earlier actions BUT the Edge browser is still showing that it requires ENABLING.
I have tried changing my default browser back Edge (as recommended by Microsoft) but this does not have any affect on what the AVG menu screen is displaying to me.
Should I avoid browsing through Edge ?
Kind regards, Fred H.
Fred, I have sent an email. Please attach the screenshot in a reply to that email.
OK, I'll try again. Sorry, won't work. The screen shot file name is Capture.PNG but the image exceeds the size limit of 1MB. Can you suggest another way of doing this ?
Thanks for trying, Fred.
As the issue persists, please share us the screenshot of the Microsoft edge extension disable to check and provide further assistance.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Not much good at sending screen shots but I'll give it a try.
Thank you for sharing the screenshot, Fred.
However, we request you to share us the screenshot of the disabled icon/message in the AVG Internet Security.
Thanks in advance.
