Browser hijacker made it past AVG

Hello David,

Let's have a look at it together. Have you tried to reset your browser and checked with situation? Please uninstall unknown programs and Add on from your browser.

I couldn't locate any active AVG products under this account. Have you registered with AVG using alternate email address?

Essentially every time I type an address into my browser, I get an error saying "

Oops! Page Not found. Sorry the page you are looking for cannot be found. To learn more click here.

For example, I put in my website - www.dpdlaw.com. I get the above error message and, in the browse, it says:  "https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/errorhandler?hspart=avast&hsimp=yhse-ak&q=www.dpdlaw.com"

It then gives me a bunch of ads and suggests. In other words, a browser hijack.

I paid for AVG... Come on, stopping browser hijackers like this is what I pay you guys for.

How do I fix this?

I don't, btw, have Avast. I ran their uninstall tool and it had no effect.
