This isn't the expected behavior.
Open AVG Internet Security and click on "Menu->About".
Check whether it shows 20.5 version.
If yes, disable each components of AVG Internet Security one by one as mentioned in this article.
After disabling each component try to access websites on 'Brave' browser.
Let us know which component is causing the issue.

Hi All,

my Brave Browser will not connect to any websites when AVG is active. Google chrome is able to connect irrespective of whether AVG is active or not. Any Ideas on how to let Brave connect to websites when AVG is active?
