Thank you for the response.  I see this when I use my chrome browser, and get a circle with an "i" inside it in the URL bar with the message that the site is not private.  I do not see anything like that when I use Internet Explorer - would it show up if it had the same problem?

I am currently using the free version of AVG, and have had it for several years and this just started happening.

I have recently begun to see that all of the websites I am browsing (like espn.com) show a message that my connection to these sites is not private.  Never saw this before.  How do I fix this?

I have temporarily disabled this and I am still getting unsecured site for espn.com in Chrome and Firefox.  The problem is not accessing sites, it is that the sites are coming as unsecure/not private.  This seems to be related to AVG.  What do I do?

Thank you for the info and update.  I reset my browser settings and restarted my PC twice and still have the issue.  What else can I do?

If you still suspect AVG is causing this issue, we suggest you to completely remove AVG from your computer and check if you are able to access the web sites. If the issue persists, we suggest you to contact the Google Chrome support.
