I updated my drivers using AVG Pro and now get a BSOD. The message is: Resolving Blue Screen errors in Windows - Microsoft Support
Stope code: REGISTRY ERROR
I cannot boot up in safe mode nor does any of my recovery software work. I can only access the computer through the command prompt. Any ideas on how I can revert to a prior version of Windows 10 or unload the corrupt driver that was installed?
Computer: HP Pavillion, I5, 16GB, updated Win10.
Thank you for your assistance.
We're sorry to hear that, John.
Could you let us know what exactly happened when you tried to restore your system? Did you encounter any error messages?
Also, please let us know if you're able to access the "Advanced repair options" menu at boot time.
Awaiting your response.
I tried that, it did not work. The system will not restore. I have the paid version. Any other thoughts?
Thank you.
