BSOD caused by avgMonFlt.sys (system service exception)
I've got exactly the same problem!
I'm a multi-year AVG user on an ASUS desktop Windows 8.1 and about a week ago my system suddenly went into a BSOD loop I cannot get out of. Booting with F9 brings up a repair screen which doesn't solve the problem. Deleting AVG makes the system work but re-installing AVG causes the same problem.
Yesterday in desperation I bought a new desktop machine (without AVG) because I have so much work to do and can't wait anylonger for a solution!!! It's now June 6th and I can see from the above post (May 29th) no solution or strategy has been posted. Iwould like to recover the use of my other machine (it has an awful lot of work locked up on it). AVG,
Do you have a solution yet AVG??? (I'm reckoning this was caused by some update you've just done??!!).
Hi. I've been using AVG for many years. In the last few days, I get a Blue Screen on Windows 8.1 caused by AVG: I get the message "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (avgMonFlt.sys).
I had to uninstall AVG and now I'm looking for another antivirus software, but if possible I'd like
to continue using AVG. Can you easily solve this problem? Thanks, D.
Hi David,
We will help you in analyzing the root cause.
Are you able to log into your PC in normal mode? Does the same issue occur after uninstalling the AVG products?

The issue persists, after deleting avg using the tool and then reinstalling it.
Hello Ken,
We have forwarded this issue to our developers team and they are working on a solution.
Is that possible for you to provide us the logs required for escalation?
If so, please reach us from your own topic/post https://support.avg.com/support_authorization_required?startUrl=/support_ask to assist you further.
David,
Sorry to hear that the issue persists. We have sent you an email requesting logs to analyze the situation. Please check your email and attach the screenshot of that blue screen/BSOD along with that data.
Once we received the logs, our senior team will check and get back to you via email.
