Bug Report: Smart scan does not know DEP status, gets it wrong

The Smartscan always says I need to activate DEP in BIOS, but it is activated, and it does this on different computer systems. Does it correctly sense DEP in some systems, or is this a common problem?

  • Additionally, could you provide a screenshot of the user interface where the Smartscan asks you to activate DEP? This will help us better understand the issue.
In the meantime, I recommend ensuring that your system's BIOS is fully updated. Also, try restarting the system and rerunning the scan to see if the issue persists.
