Hello Sebastian,
We are here to help you. AVG Internet Security will detect the threats from infected emails/websites, if it's working on your computer. AVG will not detect the links/emails as threat, if the links/emails are authorized by eBay, because eBay is legitimate website. We request you to contact eBay directly to clarify about the seller and their products.

Alok.
I am concerned that I may be in the process of being scammed via an eBay seller. The purchase may be legitimate on my behalf, but the price I have paid is suspiciously low for a camera. Can I scan the links / emails from the eBay supplier to identify if any malware is lurking e.g. if I press the link to "Check Order Status"? I don't see this facility … I assume that AVG will automatically protect my computer therefore doesn't offer this self-scan of a target email?
