Can I remove AVG Internet Security setup files?

I have installed AVG Internet Security on a Win10 laptop with 32Gb C: SSD.  This drive is very full.
I see there are a lot of files (mainly .vpx) in  C:\Program Files\AVG\Antivirus\setup, which seem also to be present in C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\AVG\Antivirus\setup.
Is there a way to remove some of all of these duplicated files?  Or to move them to a larger expansion SSD I have installed ?
Thanks
John

Hi John,

We're glad to clarify this for you.
It isn't recommended to remove AVG files, as it might cause AVG program to malfunction.
AVG Internet Security requires 1GB of RAM or above & 2 GB free space on the hard disk.
If the space consumed by AVG exceeds the above mentioned, you can try reinstalling the program, as it would remove the update files.
Also, reinstalling would provide you the latest version.
