Can i Transfer AVG Free With USB flash drive

I have been trying to help a family member fix their computer, they just told me they only had Malwarebytes as a defender. They Can't get a browser up before it times out. and I've already used Defragment and the disk clean up from their administration tools. We don't have spare money right now to buy a Premium version so i was wanting to try the free version to see if it can fix it. And then if they want to buy the Full version after Christmas they can. But they really need a working Computer until then.
