Right-click the program name or tile, and then select Open file location. Right-click the program name, and then click Send To > Desktop (Create shortcut). A shortcut for the program appears on your desktop.

can not add shortcut to browser
On AVG screen my shortcuts are shown, it also shows a + sign with add a shortcut written below it. When I tap on this, a widow opens that says add a shortcut with a space to type in a name and URL. Neither of these spaces will accept any writing or typing to do either. This page seems frozen,I have tried many times. Prior to this time, I have added 6 shortcuts. I have updated the browser . How can I use this add a shortcut feature?
