Hi, this is running on Widows 7 Pro. 64 bit sevice pack 1.

I had to reinstall AVG two week ago again as it wasn't working again.  When I would hover over the taskbar icon it would disappear and i could get into it.  I can not reinstall over our Internet connection at home so I have to wait weeks until I can get to a faster connection location.  I did try a repair this morning and after a reboot it's still not working.

This version has been nothing bbut problem scent I installed it in April of this year.  Also tech support has not been able to help over our slow connection, an they say I must get to a faster location which isn't possible for weeks.  They also want me to pay for addtional support for a problem with there application? 

So I hope you can help.  Jim

We have a slow internet connect speeds around 1mb is this the problem?

Hi, got to a high speed connection yesterday and downloaded the AVG clearer and then reinstalled and as of this afternoon it's still working.  Thanks for your help.

James, are you experiencing this issue in Mac or Windows PC?

We would like to get more information and proceed further with this.
Do you see a increase in network speed when you turn off AVG web shield component?
Provide the screenshot of AVG Antivirus interface to assist further.
