i thought i canceled my account and i received notification from my credit card that there jave been 2 attemps to charge my card $99 to continue my membership. My card declined because i did not have enough credit on my card. I do Not want to continue this service. I have had a difficult time getting to this place in order to ask why do you continue to sttempt to withdraw money from my card? I have looked for a strait forward way to cancel my membership and can not find it. Please remove me from your membership!

AVG products are sold as subscriptions and remain valid until you cancel them. We try to be clear about this both before and after your purchase, and we explain how to cancel subscriptions in various places, including:
- In our shopping cart before purchase
- In the confirmation email we send after purchase
- In notification emails we send before charging for subsequent subscription periods
We understand that people may overlook these things, and emails might end up in spam folders. So we sincerely apologize if you didn’t know that you’d subscribed and that we’d be charging you again to extend your subscription. We'd like to confirm that your subscription is expired now and there won't be further attempts to renew it.
We'd also like to clarify the reason behind multiple attempts to renew your subscription. We will try to renew the subscription 15 days prior to the expiry date in case of an automatic renewal. However, these 15 days are added to the new subscription. This 15 days window is to make sure that we successfully renew your subscription before it is elapsed. If the 1st attempt is failed, we will try to renew another couple of times within that 15 days window. Hope you have got the answer you are looking for.
