I have the instructions for canceling my subscription on my pc. When I access my product number there is no "cancel subscription " box anywhere to click. Chat said it would be there. Simple? Not yet. Please advise–anybody!!
I am answering my own question :>. Tonight I clicked over to support (for home products) then accessed chat again. The agent quckly checked my account, canceled my auto-renewal and has arranged for refund team to contact PayPal and set up refund. The first time I contacted chat I was sent to a bunch of online forms. Tonight, the real deal. I have a case number and everything; don't hang up until you get a case number. Thank you for the explanation, we see that you have AVG Anti-Virus (1 computer) as an active product which will expire soon but the one you are referring (renewal up to 2020) is already refunded.
When you purchase an AVG subscription (formally known as "Continuing Protection Service"), the subscription will continue until you have cancelled it. Customers will be billed 15 days prior to the start of the next subscription period. Customers will also receive an email regarding the automatic extension of their AVG subscription, 45 days prior to the start of the next subscription period.
Your auto renewal cancellation will take place only if you cancelled it before 45 days and you won't get an option to cancel subscription if the product is already refunded or its subscription has been cancelled.
