AVG just charged my account $49.99 without giving me heads up, so I just cancelled it. If I had been given an email notification a week ago, I might have been willing to keep it, but since they can't even give me that, I cancelled.
The website said I successfully cancelled, and I got an email saying the same, but no mention whatsoever about a refund. I want my $49.99 back. Why would there be no mention of a refund?

We are here to help. We sent an email notification 10 days prior to the order being placed to let you know in advance that this payment was due. This also contained information on how to cancel your Subscription.
Our refund team have sent you an email, please reply to that email with the information requested to proceed further.
