Cancellation of free trial...Still charged?

Hello, I signed up for a 60 day free trial but cancelled 8 or 9 days before it was due to end but I’ve still been charged, haven’t even received a confirmation email, or if the cancellation didn’t go through I haven’t had anything to say the trial was coming to an email end, I think it was 3 days before it ended I should’ve had an email or message? So please can I have a refund on the amount I’ve been charged please?
