Cancelled subscription- or so I thought

Morning all,

Have had AVG premium for a few years now, but decided last year to cancel the auto renew option. Quite frankly I was getting sick of the constant bombardment of offers to buy this or try that; I just want something that really makes quietly so n the background and does its thing. I understand adverts in the free version, but not in the premium.

So imagine my dismay when I get an email telling me that my account has been automatically renewed and fifty pounds has been taken from my account., when I thought I had made it clear that was not what I wanted.

Please let let me know how you will be rectifying this problem and and when my money will be returned to me.

Kind regards,

Jon

Jon,
That’s certainly not how we want your AVG to work. I see that you have been auto renewed for AVG Internet Security - Unlimited (1 year subscription) and it is valid till 2019.8.21. You can disable AVG campaign popups by going to AVG Internet Security->Menu->Settings->General->Privacy tab-> uncheck the box 'Show offers for our other products' and click OK to save changes. If you still wish to get refund for your AVG Internet Security - Unlimited, please write here and we will assist further.
