We could see that your refund request was already initiated and an email has been sent explaining its status.
You have been charged for the renewal of AVG Internet Security subscription due to auto renewal service enabled for its first purchase.
Our system did send prior email notification (10th October 2020) about the charge that is going to be taken.
You will get the refund amount credited within 7 business days.
Once it is credited, you can submit the request for data deletion by following the below mentioned steps:
1) Visit https://www.avg.com/gdpr website.
2) Enter your email address registered with AVG and click Request Access.
3) Check your email inbox > click "Go to Portal" button on the email that you received > Support > scroll down and submit a request for data deletion.

I have recently had an automated renewal of AVG software for AVG Internet Security - a product I don't think I ever requested. I also recently uninstalled AVG on my device so by would never have been able to see renewal status from any installed software. I have logged in to request a refund of the automated subscription.
I also now want my credit card details removed from AVGs database. This is a GDPR compliance request. Please can you advise how I can have this actioned as I can't see from the account information how to do this from the portal. There is the very unhelpful information " Currently, it's not possible to update your credit/debit card from your account. Please contact our support instead. " which doesn't link to anywhere useful.
