Cancelling trial of AVG updater

I tried to cancel my trial subscription to the AVG Driver Updater. 
I got a message that there was an issue and to try again.
When I checked my subscription status the automatic renew for my AVG Ultimate (multi device) subscription had been cancelled NOT my trial update.

VERY Irritating (!) to say the least. And, of course no way to talk with a "live" person

I would appreciate any help
