Cannot access banking site after installing AVG Ultimate

I uninstalled AVAST and installed AVG Ultimate.  Since rebooting, I cannot access several sites, including my bank and grocery stores.   Where do I start?    Is there a manual?  I've turned off each component - none seem to be blocking the sites…?
