Cannot access BBC IPlayer when VPN is on

Hi
I have a VPN from another provider and live in Spain. I was unble to access BBC and some other sites as my AVG anti-virus seems to bloac certain sites. When I uninstalled AVG my VPN works just fine. Am looking into how to turn it off temporarily when watchin BBC, rather than having ti unistall it every time.

This is the expected behavior as most of the banking and streaming websites will have their own restriction policy which will not allow access when a VPN application is used.

However, you can try selecting the following locations Gotham, Miami, New York, Seattle, Wonderland in AVG Secure VPN and check whether you are able to access the streaming or banking sites.

When I have VPN switched on, with the location set as London, UK, I cannot access web-sites such as the National Lottery and BBC IPlayer because they think I am located outside the UK. Is there anyway round this other than switching VPN off? With thanks Jill Sales
