Cannot activate a valid code

Opened my Free AVG and went to my subscription 
Clicked on activate a code 
entered the code. Said I would have to go to the avg site and activate the code. 
Tried to do this and got the above screen. 
I purchased a 3 PCs/2 year subscription in May of 2019. I have used one of the three. 
Now that I have purchased another laptop I want to use the second of the three. 
Nowhere on the box does it say that all three have to be used within a certain period of time. 
Can you help here please.

If so, share us the screenshot of it for better clarity.

In May of 2019 I purchased a new AVG Internet Security software package good for 3 computers. It worked right away for the first laptop we bought and now I have purchased another and want to use the activation code again. It will not work. I have tried in February, March and again this month. There was no expiry date that said I had to use all three by a certain date or I would not have purchased. What could be the problem?

Also, upon checking our records, we see that we've inquired about what happened exacly while activating. We're unable to find any other emails.
