Cannot connect to my LAN/NAS after starting VPN

Changed location but did not work. Still can not access my LAN in windows explorer.

This is the usual behavior of Secure VPN, Rick. Let us attempt to explain this clearly for you. 
Secure VPN helps us to mask the IP address of your computer & make it to pose in a different region to bypass geolocation restriction. Hence, your network devices will be unable to recognize the computer in your network.
However, you can try connecting to the optimal location (server) in Secure VPN to check if it helps. If issue persists, you can try setting a VPN bypass route by following the steps in this article
Note : You may need to identify the IP address of each device manually & add them.
