Cannot delete file

"File In Use.  The action can't be completed because the file is open in AVG Antivirus.  Close the file and try again."


I want to delete the file but keep getting this message

As we're uncertain about the exact message that you receive, please share us the screenshot of it for better clarity. 
Also, clarify whether you're attempting to delete the file through Shredder option in AVG Internet Security.
