I have 4 files in quarantine and I'm unable to delete them as it says I don't have permission. Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

You are on right folder but need to follow the steps as mentioned in this article: https://support.apple.com/kb/ph25287?locale=en_US to set permission for AVG Antivirus folder.
Follow the steps as mentioned in the above article and set it as "Read & Write" for AVG Antivirus folder.
