Windows 10
Failure to install 0xC0070643
I just renewed my 2 yearly AVG Internet Security (06 Jan 2016)
I had the "Insufficient access" error initially, and so I tried to uninstall as per webpage instructions (via Control Panel) and after no success ended up using AVG remover and AVG access changer (rebooting accordingly), and the I received the MSCVP110.dll not found message. Following this I uninstalled MS Redistributables (and rebooting) as per
https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b00000008npLAAQ
and after deleting all remaining AVG folders manually, and with both reboot and cold overnight hard shut downs, I still cannot install.
So I just forked out a 2 yearly fee for a product I can't use. Please help!. Prior to this AVG had been a brilliant product. (Query also logged via support form)
