Cannot not open AVG from desktop to run a scan

Hello Glen,

Are you able to see AVG Internet Security listed in "add/remove program" list?
If yes, click on it and select "uninstall" at the top.
You will get the AVG window opened in which click on "Repair".
Wait for the process to complete and restart your PC.
Check the status with the program and keep us posted.

Cannot open AVG interface from desktop to run a scan.  Have checked is in add/remove program file
