I apologize for the inconvenience caused. I would request you to run repair installation of AVG PC TuneUp to resolve the issue. To repair your AVG please follow these instructions:
Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG PC TuneUp in the list of programs.
Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
Select Repair.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
Restart your computer.

I have PC tuneup unlimited and have just installed it on a Windows 7 laptop. So far it has worked fairly well albeit slowly. However it states I am 41% optimized with background and startup programs. When I click to show, the screen goes blank for a while and then shows a constantly circling arrow which I left for over two hours and it didn't change. I have used this program on my other laptops without problem and I have another hard drive with Windows10 on it which I can swap into this laptop. It works fine there so what has gone wrong please?
