Hi There,
I have seen this same problem raised on other threads - but have not yet seen a solution.
Today, I logged on to my emails as usual but I got an AVG message saying that the connection is infected with URL: Phishing. The connection is webmail.hosting.heartinternet.uk
I have been in contact with HeartInternet ( who host the emails ) and they have told me that I should change the Anti Virus Settings on my PC. Should I do this to resolve the issue? It seems a bit dangerous to me!
I have used AVG & this email provider for almost 10 years now and this is the first time that this has happened. Currently have AVG Internet Security.
I have gone to Menu->Settings and clicked the Update button. AVG is up-to-date.
Any help much appreciated.
Regards
Donal
Hello, Donal.
We'd love to assist you with this. Could you provide a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the threat detection pop up with 'See details' clicked on? Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
