We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. This is a known issue and it was fixed in our latest version of AVG. Please run AVG remover tool once on your PC to remove AVG completely and then re install AVG free.

As the title says, I ran a scan and it found a threat that could be removed. There's no file path so I can't just manually delete it. How do I get rid of this?

I have already done research and tried uninstalling AVG. It does not show up in my programs list and when I try running the remover it just crashes and doesn't uninstall. I ran another scan today and now there's 36 of the same threat.
Then please remove the AVG folders manually as suggested below. Go to Run window (press windows key and R key simultaneously) and type the following comments to delete the folders.
1. Type “Temp” and press enter, remove all the files.
2. “%temp%” and remove all the files.
3. %appdata% - Remove all the AVG folders.
4. %programdata% - Open the AVG folder and remove the old files.
Please go to c: drive-> program files and delete the AVG files. Reboot your device in normal mode, reinstall your AVG (http://avgclick.me/howtoreinstallAVG) and check for the issue.
