Cannot run, change or uninstall AVG (Please help)

So, Ive got kind of a weird problem.

I had to do a system recovery on my PC, but i had to deactive my antivirus first.
For some reason, i decided to uninstall AVG instead, to install it again after the system recovery was completed.

I uninstalled it, performed the recovery, but now AVG is completely messed up.

I cannot run it, change it, uninstall it.
I tried using the AVG installer to repair the installation, but got this error:

"Severity: Error
Error code: 0xC0070643
Error message: General internal error
Additional message: MSI Engine: Failed to install the product.
Context: AVG product installation, MSI action failed"

How can i fix this?

Malin, Try removing AVG by downloading & using the 32 or 64bit 2015 Remover (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/utilities) [Scroll Down], whichever suits your system. If you're not sure about 32 or 64 bit on your system have a look @ this link (http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-free-forum?sec=thread&act=show&id=140471#post_140471).
