Cannot suspend the VPN, it used to allow now it will not let me

With reference to your Post, looks like we are in need of more information to get a clarity on this issue. May I know if you're using AVG Secure VPN for Windows computer, what is the exact issues you're experiencing with VPN, is it blocking any website or application?

Trevor, you can slide the On/Off button on AVG Secure VPN interface to turn on of off the VPN connection.

I should have mentioned also that without being able to suspend VPN I am unable to connect to the National lottery

yes I am using Windows, I am not a computer expert , the problem is the icon at the bottom of my screen tells me VPN is connected, when I first started to use it I had an option to suspend the connection but that option does not now appear and the VPN is fixed on connection.
