Cannot uninstall AVG (Free edition)

Hi, I cannot uninstall the AVG from my computer, when I choose uninstall in Windows.  The message appears "Installation already in progress  Another AVG installation or update is already in progress (Error code: 0xe001f921)) 
Please advise how I can uninstall it.  Thanks
