Hello Support,
First Thanks to all the answers and e-mail, and want to share with you the following
After all the troubles I had and troubled you, with uninstalling and failed installations, I wanted to get back to AVG 2014, so I restored the PC to an earlier time before all the troubles began. Thinking back it was stupid move - AVG 2014 did not work.
So without any antivirus I did not connect to the Internet, and made some maintenance to the PC,
in some forgotten folder I found once downloaded (don't remember from where)a file:
"avg_free_x86_all_2015_ltst_222.exe", and I gave it a try, after about 2.5 hours I got a "Successfull Installation", restarted the PC as noted, started updating virus database, and for now the AVG 2015 works.
But still I have some question: While updating, all icons on the interface turned red, and a warning notice
saying that another two users are loged to my computer, how is it possible if the antivirus and Windows firewall are ON ?
I know that after all the manouvers I will have to reinstall Windows and all my favorite programs, but for now it is enough.
Hope I did not bother you with this long story.
If I will need any assistance - I know it's a good place to find.
Many Thanks and Regards
Mordechai
Hello Support
Need help!
On my PC Windows 7 pro once installed AVG antivirus 2014 and was happy with it, updating database
every few days. By accident I clicked on Popup window asked me if I want to update to 2015, I clicked
"yes" and suddenly ZEN started ti install, It was a very long proccess and took a large part of hard disk, and slowing up my whole computer
Then I started the Windows Uninstaller from the control panel, to uninstall AVG Protection - the uninstall started but there was no progress, the progress line stopped at the begining and nothing happened.
I allso started to uninstall the AVG maintenance program but it said I first have to uninstall the AVG Protection which could not be uninstalled.
In short - I wish to uninstall ALL AVG programs from my PC, then I will install the simple AVG free antivirus only, its good enough for me.
Please help me with this problem as ASP.
Thanks
Mordechai
Please notify me in my e-mail when there is some unswer
.
Thanks for the answer.
Before I do anything wrong, and before I remain without any antivirus protection, after downloading the removal tool (hope it will work), I have downloaded 2 installation files:
1) AVG_Antivirus_Free_692.exe = 2.856 KB
2)AVG_Antivirus_Free_x86_694.exe = 212.579 KB
Which one shell I use to install AVG free antivirus (only) offline.
PS: My OS is Windows 7 pro 32 bit.
Thanks
Mordechai
