Cannot uninstall the AVG Free version from my PC

I have a free version of AVG installed on my PC which I would like to uninstall. I have tried all the tricks to try to uninstall, nothing works. I cannot even kill the tasks or stop the service. I have Admin privileges too. What is missing and what exactly do I need to do the stop the service. I cannot even delete the folder in Program Files directory. Any suggestions??
