Cannot update avg free

I have spent many hours today trying to udate my avg free with no luck . I was on the chat line today, and got disconnnected, then tonight I tried again and was chatting wit Paul and he needed to connect me a tech to help with this problem and to make sure I stayed with the chat line and did not discontinue it. so I waited and waited and after approx 8 minutes, all this text came through that since I did not answer him in 3min, then 5 min, and now 8 minutes HE was discontinuing this session… that was the first I heard from him, and lickidysplit, done with me. so 2times today I was dumped. and now I have tried for over at least a 1/2 hour to get on the chat line and I get absolutly no response. Earlier today I was contacted by a person "Subhadeep Kanungo". He told me how to go about it and that did not work. so I am terribly upset now. Anyone out there have an answer for me. I do see that I am not the only one having issues with  whomever is regulating the avg policys.
