Cannot update, repair or scan

May I know the name of the AVG program you have installed in your computer as well as the error message you recieved while trying to update AVG?

I just noticed that my updates have failed and the last one that updated was December 25 2016. I tried a Repair and it failed and then I tried to reinstall AVG but that failed as well. I also tried a virus scan but when I clicked on complete scan the AVG box was dark so the scan could not work. I got an error code as well which I have noted and will provide if necessary. Thanks for any help someone can offer.
