Can't access files

Hello Brenda.
We're here to help.
Did you put MS Office or Adobe programs to sleep from running in the background using AVG TuneUp?
If you did, please wake them and verify the issue. Open AVG TuneUp, click Speed up tile, then click Background & Startup Programs.
Scroll down to see the list of programs sleeping.

I recently added the Tune Up program to my subscription.  Now I can't open any Word, Excel or Pdf documents.  I have tried to go into Security settings to check the Folder Access settings but it's saying I am not allowed to access this page.  Is the problem I am having linked to the Tune Up Download or is it just coincidental timing and I have another issue?

Message I get when opening files/pdfs
This is the message I am getting on Word, Excel and Pdfs.

Thank you for sharing us the screenshot, Brenda.
It seems that the services required to launch MS Word & Adobe isn't running on your computer. To check this, please check the MS Office & Adobe services on your computer. (Press windows logo key & R keys together to get the runline command - Type services.msc & hit enter - From the list, check the services related to word & pdf).

Thanks for your help.  I checked the services and can't see anything listed that relates to Excel or Adobe and the only one that looks remotely linked to Word.  So I think you are right in that they have disappeared somehow.  Do you have any suggestions as to how to fix this?  I appreciate your help.
This is the only Microsoft Word reference I could see.

Thank you.  I've checked sleeping programs and MS Office and Adobe are not amongst them.  Any other ideas?

Thank you for checking.
We believe this issue is not caused by AVG TuneUp. Do you receive any error message when trying to open the documents?
If you do, please share a screenshot (https://bit.ly/3hmUdkG) of it. You could try repairing the MS Office package and Adobe to verify the issue.
